We’re then thrust into the world of high fashion via CG Cinéma, Closer Media, Chanel, France 3 Cinéma, Canal+, Ciné+ OCS, France Télévisions, Pathé, Vertical, Signature Entertainment, and storms & sharks merge for category 5 terror thanks to Sony Pictures, Hyperobject Industries, Netflix. We end with real life high jinks in the music world from Patriot Pictures, Homefront Productions, StudioCanal, Magenta Light Studios, Blazing Griffin, Tartan Bridge Films.

Things are definitely unnerving as Black Fawn Films, Slaterverse Pictures, Spooky Pictures, DimensionGate, KINO Studios, Feel Everything, A24, VVS Films unleash paranormal happenings across the airwaves. PLUS, moral ambiguities are set a light in Square Peg & A24’s tale of a couple upcoming wedding!

The wonderful Cynthia Amsden is to thank for our sojourn to the 'Huston Underwater Film Festival (HUFF)', where we look at TWO short form documentaries which explore completely different aspects of the ocean. THEN, we get to conversate with the man who has committed his life to bringing the wonders beneath the waves to those who haven't experienced their joy in person. We get his origin story, what drives his desire to tell these stories, the challenges, the learning and evolution. Plus so much more, this is one you won't want to put down!!! This year's 'BFI Flare' @EchoChamberFP https://www.instagram.com/echochamberfp/ coverage wasn't what we were hoping for to mark the 40th anniversary (a LOT of flaky creatives) BUT, we made it work!

HUGE thanks to Media House Global's Fagun Furia, who came through with a really interesting project. A documentary that pulled back the curtain on a community that never gets talked about. THEN, giving us the opportunity to sit down with a first time director, but experienced storyteller, to really get into what it took to gain trust and shine a light on these individuals and the legacy of their community!!! For the first time, @EchoChamberFP https://www.instagram.com/echochamberfp/ ventures into those hallowed Austin vibes, with a little South by Southwest action! And if we’re gonna do it, what a way to get things popping!!!!

The beauty of expansive, long-form conversation, is that it can really get under the skin of topics many just skate over, and demystify preconceived notions. So when Falco's Imani Charles came with the opportunity to speak with Maya Annik Bedward about her feature directorial debut, which was dealing with topics & notions not normally discussed, of course we were eager to get that done! And what an interesting, expansive confab was had. Maya was incredibly open about the whole process, giving her entire team their flowers and talking about Haiti & Vodou with so much care, and passion, it was clear she was truly meant to shine a light on these topics! So the UFC is back home, back in Vegas, at the Meta Apex for another 'Fight Night'. We have a great card, anchored a former Bantamweight Champion and a surging young star! And before that, essentially the number one contender for the winner of the upcoming Women's Bantamweight belt, and a challenger on an impressive hot streak. Now, I think there's probably a lot on these fights, right?

If Norma Dumont wins, she's cemented her shot at the belt. BUT, if Joselyne Edwards wins, she could have next! There is obviously Mosar Evolve, BUT, maybe an impressive win gets Aljamain Sterling or Youssef Zalal a shot or a contender bout?!?

There are 13 fights on the card, with two debuts, so @ChinCheckPod (ep 319) jumped in to work out who's getting their hand raised! A lot of close match-ups, so lets see what happens on ‘UFC Fight Night: Sterling vs Zalal’!?!

Okay, people, so the UFC is heading to Manitoba, Winnipeg in fact. Canada got itself 12 great fights, and the Canada Life Center is going to be rocking!

We got a vet against a prospect in the headline bout, as Mike Malott is going up against Gilbert Burns. The Co-main is fire too, as Kyler Phillips goes up against Charles Jourdain. There's several debuts too, with Mandel Nallo, Márcio Barbosa, Julien Leblanc, Gökhan Saricam, and Jamie Siraj. Plus a host of fighters on the bubble, so who's going to take the opportunity to shine!?!

Will this be Canada's day to shine, well, @ChinCheckPod (ep 317) did what it does and broke everything down, so you can figure out what flag to fly while you watch ‘UFC Fight Night: Burns vs Malott’!?!

DAMN, it's all done, the UFC took over Miami, and yo, what a great night, right, we had some incredible fights! It's the fourth numbered event of the year, and it was not a disappointment!!!

We lost fights leading up to the show, BUT, what we got, 12 lit fights....well, on the real, 11 great fights. Even though one was a stinker, the Headliner, DAMN, and Co-main were fire too. Yo, this was great, this was great, people!.

There's been a LOT of talk about the start of the Paramount Era and whether the cards have been legit. Regardless where you stand on this, there is NO question that any sensible Floridian will be hot stepping to Miami's Kaseya Center, cause the 'UFC' is coming in with fire this weekend!

We may have lost the Flyweight Title fight, but damn, this card is jam packed with name recognition fighters! I mean, the 'Prelims' could be a 'Main Card' anywhere else (especially Netflix)! Opening up with Tatiana Suarez vs Loopy Godinez, and topping with Patrício Pitbull vs Aaron Pico, damn!!! There are a LOT of questions too, can Cub Swanson bookend his career in that perfect way, can Pico reach the potential many have put on his shoulders, will Chris Padilla, MarQuel Mederos or Azamat Murzakanov be the next break out star, can Suarez, Dominick Reyes, and Paulo Costa get back to the title picture!?!

We have 12 fights to break down and you know @ChinCheckPod (ep 315) has a thing or two to say about the vacant Light Heavyweight strap. So get ready for another hot preview, this time for 'UFC 327: Procházka vs Ulberg'!!!!

After an all action card in Seattle, it's back to home base at the Meta Apex, before the next BIG numbered event!
