It's Part 2 of this week's podcast, AND we hit the UFC!!!
So, Saturday, the anticipation of Bruce Buffer's "It's Tiiimmmeeee" was at its Apex. And UFC on ABC 1 had a LOT of weight on its shoulders. Not just the first card of the year, BUT, the first card on ABC. Man, did that deliver or what!!!
Austin Lingo & Jacob Kilburn opened the Prelims up right, and Joselyne Edwards warmed everyone up for the main card with her fantastic debut!
THEN, Punahele Soriano (keeps that O), Alessio Di Chirico and Jingliang Li bust it all open with their back to back KO's! Plus, Di Chirico stops Mr Highlight!!
Carlos Condit and Matt Brown gave us a fight that definitely didn't feel Jurassic!
AND, what can we say about the Main event, right! Calvin Katter vs Max Holloway brought us the fight this card and the start of 2021 deserved. Now, I did say 'Fight of the Year' contender, and yes, that was rash, considering it was 'The Holloway Show'. BUT, this fight was something else, as we saw Next Level Max and Tru Grit Calvin!!!
