Chin Check - 164 (Recap)
Things got started with 'UFC on ESPN 21' but it was definitely an event that didn't go to plan for a few.
Now, even though the Main event didn't turn out to be the competitive fight we hoped for. Kevin Holland looked good on the feet, but Derek Brunson took him down and was able to keep him there to ground out victory.
And the Buys did make history by both making their debuts on the same card. But Bruno Silva and Montserrat Ruiz didn't care about history.
Now other than the Silva fight, we did get some tremendous finishes. Starting with Grant Dawson who finishes Leonardo Santos with two seconds left in the third round!!!
Then on the Main card, Tai Tuivasa gets things going with a BANG!
Adrian Yanez showed the world that his 'Dana White's Contender Series', and debut fights weren't flukes. Cause he looked straight up sensational!
AND Max Griffin killed it in the Co-main, with his display of fast ferocious hands, which gave him an early night to chill.
Then Sunday Eddie Bravo & Victor Davila came with the first 'Combat Jiu-Jitsu Worlds' card of the year.
This time it was for the Bantamweights to shine, and shine they definitely did.
So many incredible performances from Richard Alarcon, Ben Eddy (who we should be calling now Mr Dead Orchard), Suraj Budhram, Nick Honstein.
BUT, this night was all about Elias Anderson who took the belt in nail biting, overtime craziness!!!
So, let's break it all down, in today's (ep 164) @ChinCheckPod
