Chin Check - 208 (Recap)

We started things off going back to the first two events of 'Cage Warriors' last trilogy!

It all got going with 'Cage Warriors 123' and the Co-main was a rematch from 'Cage Warriors 120'. Will Currie was looking for revenge against Christian Leroy Duncan. Currie had a great first round, showing tremendous technique on the ground. It all changed in the second though, as Duncan lands a spinning elbow that crumples Currie. And in the third Duncan was able to control the fight, ending with solid ground & pound.

In the Main event, Matthew Bonner started strong, taking Nathias Frederick down and controlling things on the ground. Frederick though started to take over, looked the fresher fighter. BUT, in a second of hesitancy, Bonner takes the back, sinks in the rear naked, AND NEW!!!

At 'Cage Warriors 124' Justin Burlinson threw down with David Bear in the Co-main. After being controled for a large part of the first, Burlinson ended the first round BIG. And then ended things halfway through the second!

In the Main Joe McColgan dominated the champ Agy Sardari not allowing him to settle into his game. Locking up a nasty arse guillotine early in the third, to become the NEW Lightweight Champion!!!

We jump to the present with 'Legacy Fighting Alliance' first July event. And '110' got started with a bang f'sure! As Oscar Herrera has a memorable debut, scoring an armour in the second round!

In the next fight, we thought that Jaqueline Amorim vs Megan Owen would be a ground chess match. Nah, Amorim had other ideas, as she lands a right hook from hell and getting a ten second KO!

Christian Natividad had a very controlled, dominant performance to secure the win.

And a BIG first, followed by a big shot in the third was probably what gave Renato Valente the split decision in the Co-main.

The Main event was for all the marbles, the winner of Charles Johnson & Yuma Horiuchi would become the new 'Interim LFA Flyweight Champion'. It was a bit of a controversial fight, a lot closer than some judges may have declared it. BUT, either way, Charles Johnson is the NEW 'Interim' Flyweight Champion!!!
