This week's @EchoChamberFP has digital (VOD, Amazon & Shudder) and a theatrical release in the mix. And there's definitely something for everyone!

'A Perfect Enemy' is directed by Kike Maíllo and co-written by Cristina Clemente & Fernando Navarro, adapted from Amélie Nothomb's, 'The Enemy’s Cosmetique'. A successful architect Jeremy Angust (Tomasz Kot) is approached on his trip to Paris by a strange young woman, Texel Textor (Athena Strates), who will not leave him alone. Missing his flight and trapped in the airport lounge he is unable to get rid of the annoying stranger. Although the meeting at first seems to be by chance, soon there is a turn that will transform the nature of their encounter into something much more sinister and criminal.

Now on Prime Video is 'The Tomorrow War' from Chris McKay & Zach Dean. The world is stunned when a group of time travelers arrive from the year 2051 to deliver an urgent message: Thirty years in the future mankind is losing a global war against a deadly alien species. The only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to be transported to the future and join the fight. Among those recruited is high school teacher and family man Dan Forester (Chris Pratt). Determined to save the world for his young daughter, Dan teams up with a brilliant scientist (Yvonne Strahovski) and his estranged father (J.K. Simmons) in a desperate quest to rewrite the fate of the planet.

'Son' is the new 'Shudder' film from Ivan Kavanagh. After a mysterious group breaks into Laura’s (Andi Matichak) home and attempts to abduct her eight-year-old son, David (Luke David Blumm), the two of them flee town in search of safety. But soon after the failed kidnapping, David becomes extremely ill, suffering from increasing psychosis and convulsions. Following her maternal instincts, Laura commits unspeakable acts to keep him alive, but soon she must decide how far she is willing to go to save her son and how close will she allow Paul, the Detective (Emile Hirsch).

Jeremy Hersh makes his feature debut with 'The Surrogate' We follow Jess Harris (Jasmine Batchelor), a 29-year-old web designer, who is excited to be the surrogate and egg-donor for her best friend Josh (Chris Perfetti) and his husband Aaron (Sullivan Jones). Twelve weeks into the pregnancy, a prenatal test comes back with unexpected results that pose a moral dilemma. As they all consider the best course of action, the relationship between the three friends is put to the test.
