Berwyn Rowlands set-up The Festivals Company in 2006, and the following year he established the 'Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival', where he serves as the Festival Director.

The festival has been running for 15 years and has become a leading voice in championing LGBT+ short films, not just during the festival week, but all year round. It takes place in Cardiff, Wales, every October and has become a significant event in the British film festival calendar.
