Echo Chamber - 174 - Part Two
AND, 'Part Two' of this week's 'Special Edition' @EchoChamberFP we sit down with Berwyn Rowlands, who has run magazines, theatre companies AND, established a universally recognised film festival, which is knocking down barriers for the LGBTQ+ community. Oh, and if that's not enough, he's struck a deal with Channel 4, where the 'Iris Prize' films play for a FULL year!!!
In 'Part Two' we have:
Berwyn Rowlands
Berwyn Rowlands set-up The Festivals Company in 2006, and the following year he established the 'Iris Prize LGBT+ Film Festival', where he serves as the Festival Director.
The festival has been running for 15 years and has become a leading voice in championing LGBT+ short films, not just during the festival week, but all year round. It takes place in Cardiff, Wales, every October and has become a significant event in the British film festival calendar.
