Sheikh Shahnawaz has just released his debut feature film, off the back of a year where he released a new short every month! Both are tremendous feats and Sheikh, really breaks down the motivation that go him there. How he’s navigating the industry, what he wants to achieve, and a LOT more!

Sheikh Shahnawaz is a British-Bangladeshi film director, screenwriter & producer born on 26 January, 1995 in Birmingham, England.

At 15 years old, Sheikh began making short films for his school projects using the school's video equipment. While studying Media Production at Coventry University, Sheikh wrote and directed short films Friend Request (2015) and Stalker (2016).

Sheikh would then go on to release a short film every month to YouTube for the whole of 2018, filming completely guerrilla with no crew and no budget. These short films include Sleepless (2018), Blackmail (2018), Witness (2018), Duality (2018), Gamer (2018), The Woods (2018), The Initiation (2018), Reversal (2018) and Trick (2018).

Bluff (2022) is the feature directorial debut by Sheikh Shahnawaz.
