We have another 'TWO Part' EchoChamberFP this week!

'Part One' starts off with a new Korean sci-fi flick on Netflix, then we have Sony Pictures Korean War feature, which is now on Prime Video. And close with Lionsgate's new theatrical release.

'Jung_E' is written & directed by Yeon Sang-ho. In the near future when Earth ceases to be habitable, civil war breaks out between hostile factions in the recently formed space colonies. The key to ending the battle lies with JUNG_E (Kim Hyun-joo), a combat android built on the brain data of a legendary mercenary and war hero, Yun Jung-yi. The RoboCop-like project’s chief researcher is Jung-yi’s now-adult daughter, Yun Seo-hyun (Kang Soo-yeon). As Seo-hyun gets to know her mother anew while leading the effort, she also learns of JUNG_E’s devastating secret purpose.

'Devotion' is directed by J. D. Dillard and written by Jake Crane & Jonathan A. Stewart. It's based on a book of the same name from Adam Makos. 1950. Ensign Jesse Brown (Jonathan Majors) and Lt Tom Hudner (Glen Powell) join Navy Fighter Squadron VF-32 at roughly the same time and Brown is assigned as Hudner's wingman. They are quickly the best of friends and always look out for each other. Later that year war breaks out in Korea and VF-32, onboard the carrier USS Leyte, provides air support. Their missions are vital to the war effort and extremely dangerous.

'Plane' is directed by Jean-François Richet and written by Charles Cumming & J.P. Davis. Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island - only to find that surviving the landing was just the beginning. When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI. In order to rescue the passengers, Torrance will need Gaspare's help, and will learn there's more to Gaspare than meets the eye.

In 'Part One' we have:

Final Girls Berlin Film Festival - 2023

The Final Girls Berlin Film Festival - 2023

8th Edition

1st - 5th February 2023

City Kino Wedding - Berlin

'Final Girls Berlin Film Festival' showcases horror cinema that’s directed, written, or produced by women and non-binary filmmakers. We are committed to creating space for female voices and visions, whether monstrous, heroic or some messy combination of the two, in the horror genre. We've seen more than enough representations of women as beautified victims and constructions of male fantasies or anxieties, and are working towards the primacy of women as subjects and storytellers in horror.

There are three ways you can experience this years Festival:
