This week’s EchoChamberFP is running with five films for your listening pleasure!

We have three from Netflix, one a continuation of a family franchise, and two Roald Dahl adaptations. Then we have two Hulu originals, both horror tinged, one with aliens, the other anxiety!!!

'Spy Kids: Armageddon' is directed by Robert Rodriguez which he co-wrote with Racer Max Rodriguez. When the children (Connor Esterson, Everly Carganilla) of the world's greatest secret agents (Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi) unwittingly help a powerful Game Developer (Billy Magnussen) unleash a computer virus that gives him control of all technology, they must become spies themselves to save their parents and the world.

'No One Will Save You' is written & directed by Brian Duffield. In this captivating sci-fi psychological thriller, a young woman (Kaitlyn Dever) who’s been alienated from her community finds herself in an action-packed face-off with a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past!

'The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar' is written & directed by Wes Anderson. it's an adaptation of Roald Dahl's 1977 book 'The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More'. A beloved Roald Dahl short story about a rich man (Benedict Cumberbatch) who learns about a guru (Ben Kingsley) who can see without using his eyes and then sets out to master the skill in order to cheat at gambling.

'The Swan' is written & directed by Wes Anderson, it's an adaptation of Roald Dahl's 1977 book 'The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar and Six More'. A young adult Roald Dahl short story about a small/brilliant boy ruthlessly pursued by two large/idiotic bullies.

'Appendage' is written & directed by Anna Zlokovic. A young fashion designer (Hadley Robinson) seems fine on the surface but secretly struggles with debilitating self-doubt. Soon these buried feelings begin to make Hannah physically sick and sprout into a ferocious growth on her body: The Appendage. As Hannah's health declines, The Appendage grows more powerful and begins to fuel her anxieties - her perceived lack of talent at work, her deteriorating relationships with her boyfriend (Brandon Mychal Smith) and best friend (Kausar Mohammed) and her parents' lack of love and understanding. At her breaking point, Hannah makes a shocking discovery - there are others out there like her.
