'Part ONE' has five films, an action/revenge joint from Netflix, a survival tale from Prime Video, Walt Disney Studios bring their ride inspired romp to Disney+, and there's a possession horror from Shudder. THEN, we end with Signature Entertainment high seas thriller!!!
'Ballerina' (발레리나) is written & directed by Chung-hyun Lee. Grieving the loss of a best friend (Park Yu-rim) she couldn't protect, an ex-bodyguard (Jeon Jong-seo) sets out to fulfil her dear friend's last wish: sweet revenge.
'Totally Killer' is directed by Nahnatchka Khan, who co-wrote with David Matalon, Sasha Perl-Raver & Jen D'Angelo. Jamie (Kiernan Shipka) who, after her mother's (Julie Bowen) friends are murdered by the Sweet 16 Killer on Halloween, travels back in time to 1987, where she pairs up with her mother (Olivia Holt) to stop the young would-be-killer and return to her timeline before she is trapped in the past forever.
'Haunted Mansion' is directed by Justin Simien and written by Katie Dippold. A single mom named Gabbie (Rosario Dawson) hires a tour guide (LaKeith Stanfield), a psychic (Tiffany Haddish), a priest (Owen Wilson) and a historian (Danny DeVito) to help exorcise her newly bought mansion after discovering it is inhabited by ghosts.
'The Puppetman' is directed by Brandon Christensen, who co-wrote with Ryan Christensen & Matt Manjourides. The Puppetman is a convicted killer (Zachary Le Vey) on death row. He has always maintained his innocence, saying it was an evil force controlling his body as he slaughtered his victims. Now Michal (Alyson Gorske), the killer's daughter, begins to suspect that there may be some truth to her father’s claim when those around her (Angel Prater, Anna Telfer, Cameron Wong, Kio Cyr) begin to die in brutal ways. All hope rests on her shoulders to break The Puppetman's curse.
'Dangerous Waters' is directed by John Barr, who co-wrote with Mark Jackson. Rose lives a small-town life with her single mother Alma. Their luck takes a turn when Alma's new boyfriend Derek whisks them away on a sailing trip. While at sea, Derek's shady past is revealed when their boat is attacked by savage villains and Alma is viciously killed. Distraught and persecuted, Rose unearths a primal instinct of survival and a terrifying need to avenge her mother's death.
