You can hear ‘Part Two’ of this week’s episode HERE!!!

You're not mistaken, @EchoChamberFP is back this week, and we have a 'TWO Parter' for you!!!

In 'Part ONE' we have a couple of films that have just hit Prime Video. A recent Oscar winner from MRC & Orion Pictures, and a new comedy from MGM Studios, VicScreen. We also have two from Signature Entertainment, one's a book adaptation from Vertical Entertainment & Thomasville Pictures and the other is an Australian spiritual tale from Dirty Films & Screen Australia. Netflix also has a new fantasy yarn from Roth/Kirschenbaum Films & PCMA Management and Productions.

'American Fiction' is written & directed by Cord Jefferson, in his feature directorial debut. It's based on Percival Everett's 2001 book ‘Erasure’. A frustrated novelist (Jeffrey Wright), fed up with the establishment profiting from "Black" entertainment that relies on tired and offensive tropes, uses a pen name to write his own outlandish "Black" book and is suddenly swept up in the madness he claims to disdain.

'Ricky Stanicky' is directed by Peter Farrelly, who co-wrote with Jeff Bushell, Brian Jarvis, James Lee Freeman, Pete Jones, Mike Cerrone. When Dean (Zac Efron), JT (Andrew Santino), and Wes (Jermaine Fowler), childhood friends have to materialise their imaginary alibi Ricky Stanicky, they hire a washed-up actor and celebrity impersonator to bring him to life.

'Damsel' is directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, and written by Dan Mazeau. Elodie (Millie Bobby Brown), who accepts a marriage proposal (Nick Robinson) only to realize that she's used to repay a royal family's (Robin Wright, Milo Twomey) ancient debts, and must now escape while surviving attacks from the dragon (Shohreh Aghdashloo) lurking in the chasm.

'Fast Charlie' is directed by Phillip Noyce, and written by Richard Wenk, it's based on 'Gun Monkeys', Victor Gischler 2001 book. When his aging mob boss (James Caan) is whacked, Charlie Swift (Pierce Brosnan), a loyal friend and hired gun, will stop at nothing to destroy the upcoming crew that took him out.

'The New Boy' is written & directed by Warwick Thornton. A nine-year-old Aboriginal Australian orphan boy (Aswan Reid) arrives in the dead of night at a remote monastery run by a renegade nun (Cate Blanchett).

In 'Part One' we have:
