It's the penultimate day of our Dances With Films (20th June - 30th June 2024) @EchoChamberFP coverage, 'Day 10', and there's no letting up!!!

Things get heavy this episode, as we're delving into the realm of mental heath and bipolar. It's a raw look through the window of a couples life together and how a relationship can be impacted. THEN, the raw & real continues with a confab that peels back the process, the what's, the why's, and contemplates the repercussions of a body of work like this. Truly fascinating across the board, this is not to be missed!!!

'Spyral' is written & directed by Bill Guttentag, and artfully narrated by Michelle Trachtenberg. A tragic true story that reveals the mental health epidemic in America. This is a dramatic and powerful view of the toll that bipolarism takes on one woman’s (Michelle Cody White) life and the family (Randall Scott White) she leaves behind. With over a decade of home videos, diaries and social media, Oscar -winning director, Bill Guttentag, stitches together the tragic story and the mystery behind it.

27th Dances With Films

Dances With Films (DWF:LA & DWF:NYC), now in its 27th year, champions the unflinching spirit at the very core of the independent film scene. While the vast majority of film fests rely heavily on celebrity, we have relied on the innovation, talent, creativity and sweat equity that revolutionized the entertainment industry. And that reliance continues to prove successful with alumni moving on to write, direct and produce celebrity-studded vehicles, star in blockbuster movies and television series, produce multi-million dollar films and create hit TV shows. Oh…. and we even have several OSCAR® nominees… In a world of homogenized, formulaic film festivals, DWF:LA continues to defy the rules.
