There's always something different about a PPV day, it's usually bigger and there's an energy around it.

UFC 257 definitely has that, and it also has that urgency. Now it's different for every fighter, but it's there!

For Amir Albazi (@amiralbazi), he wants to show the hype is real, and that, that first fight in the big show wasn't a fluke. Where as Zhalgas Zhumagulov (@zhumagulov_zhalgas) wants to show that first fight wasn't him.

Marcin Prachnio (@marcinprachnio) really wants to stop the rot and save his job. While Khalil Rountree (@khalilrountree) wants to reconnect with that Thailand focus and perform within the flow state.

Julianna Peña (@venezuelanvixen) & Sara McMann (@saramcmann), know they haven't hit their full potential yet. So nows the time to make that claim, but who has what it takes!

Brad Tavares (@bradtavares808) and Antônio Carlos Júnior (@caradesapatojr) don't want to be considered midlevel. They want highs, but they need that consistent run...does it start tonight!?!

Marina Rodriguez (@marinarodriguezmma) has only lost once, has some big scalps on her record, BUT, she's not being talked about like Amanda Ribas (@amandaufcribas). So she wants to take that shine. Problem is Ribas has aspirations, and they don't stumble here!

The last three fights on the card all have title connections. Whether the shot is the next fight or, the win would put you real close to the conversation.

Joanne Calderwood (@badmofo_jojo) REALLY wants to win back that title shot she lost. While Jessica Eye (@jessicaevileye) wants the chance to show that the first challenge wasn't her!

In the Co-main we'll get the debut from former Bellator champion, Michael Chandler (@mikechandlermma). He's aiming on winning big, fighting the main event winner, and getting the belt. As that will show he's always been legit. Dan Hooker (@danhangman) though, he's seen war, he's thrown down with some of the best and he believes he's on the cusp!

Then, what started as a Dublin exhibition, has become the Main and question that's been on everyones lips. Can Dustin Poirier (@dustinpoirier) change the result? Yes, he's improved but is that enough. And for Conor McGregor (@thenotoriousmma), is this the start of the season? We've seen the training clips, the heads shaved, does the focus bring 18.01.20 type devastation, will it be worse???
