@EchoChamberFP this week brings you the sequel to a classic, an indie Irish thriller, and a creepy Canadian horror, sci-fi hybrid! As well as news on this year's BFI Flare Festival.

Let's start off with a sequel which is 33 years in the making. That's right 'Coming 2 America'. Craig Brewer has the job of ushering Zamunda back to the world. With the death of his father, King Akeem discovers he has a son, living in the old neighbourhood. So he races to America to find the heir, his father, and the old traditions expect and want! We have all the old faces Eddie Murphy, Shari Headley, Arsenio Hall & John Amos. Plus new editions KiKi Layne, Bella Murphy, Akiley Love, Nomzamo Mbatha, Jermaine Fowler, Tracy Morgan.

Next up is 'The Winter Lake' an independent Irish film from David Turpin (writer) and Phil Sheeran (director). When a mother, Elaine (Charlie Murphy) & son, Tom (Anson Boon), move to a remote village life changes. In his wanderings by a seasonal lake, the withdrawn Tom makes a startling and sinister discovery. What part do their neighbours, Ward (Michael McElhatton) the father, and his daughter Holly (Emma Mackey), play in this!!!

And, we have Come True, the new film from Anthony Scott Burns @pilotpriest ( gave an assist with the writing). We follow Sarah (Julia Sarah Stone), a troubled teen with a backstory. She can't sleep, so signs up to Dr. Meyer's (Christopher Heatherington) hospital study. The findings of which seem to open up the door to some horrifying revelations, which researcher Jeremy (Landon Liboiron) tries to help with and his colleague Anita (Carlee Ryski) is sucked into!
