'The ParaPod Movie' is a UK comedy documentary in which the hosts Barry Dodds & Ian Boldsworth of the popular ParaPod podcast, one a believer and the other a sceptic, take their show on the road where they continue their arguments about the existence of paranormal phenomena.
'Martyrs Lane' is written & directed by Ruth Platt. Leah (Kiera Thompson) 10, lives in a large, run down vicarage with her parents (Denise Gough & Steven Cree) and hostile older sister (Hannah Rae). She can't quite work out why her mother seems distant and is fascinated by the locket she wears around her neck. At night the vicarage seems to come alive with sounds. After taking her mothers locket and stealing what's inside, a chain of events turn the sounds that she hears at night into something much more frightening.
STUDIOCANAL is celebrating the centenary of the silver screen mystro Dirk Bogarde, so they've given 'The Servant' the provocative & groundbreaking collaboration (first of three) between director Joseph Losey and celebrated playwright Harold Pinter (adapted from a short story by Robin Maugham), a meticulously 4K restoration! The film follows sly and seductive manservant Barrett (Bogarde) as he worms his way into the affections of foppish aristocrat Tony (Fox). Barrett’s awe-inspiring efficiency cleverly masks his true intentions, ultimately giving way to a suspicious and insidious control where the roles of master and servant are reversed.
