This week, we have another 'TWO Parter' @EchoChamberFP In 'Part One' we have FIVE films, one for children, three horror, and a new Netflix drama from an oscar winner!

'Christmas Thieves' is directed by Francesco Cinquemani and written by Mario Bellina, Ferdinando Dell'Omo & Andrea Fazzini It follows Frank (Tom Arnold) & Vince (Michael Madsen), who after a robbery goes wrong, they break into a home to avoid the cops when eight-year-old Liam (Lorenzo McGovern Zaini) and four-year-old Olivia (Mia McGovern Zaini) mistake them for their babysitters. Hoping to make the children fall asleep so they can make their final getaway, Frank begins to read them stories from a magic book that he grabbed during the robbery, taking them to the enchanted world of ARCTIC FRIENDS. The two thieves have to endure the children's hijinks as they make various attempts - as absurd as they are disastrous - to escape.

'Puppet Killer' was directed by Lisa Ovies, who conceived the idea with Kevin Mosley, who wrote the screenplay. For seven-year-old Jamie, watching horror movies with his loving parents and his fuzzy pink puppet, Simon, is a beloved Christmas tradition. Unfortunately, that all ends when his mother dies of cancer and his father (Geoff Gustafson) marries a new woman. After she mysteriously disappears from the family vacation home, Jamie starts to believe that Simon may have killed her. Ten years later, Jamie (Aleks Paunovic) brings five of his high school friends, Jessie (Lisa Durupt), Curtis (Lee Majdoub), Rick (Richard Harmon), Brooke (Gigi Saul Guerrero) & Lee (Kyle Cassie) to the family’s cabin for Christmas Break. As the weekend unfolds, Jamie’s friends are slaughtered one by one by a psychotic killer obsessed with horror movie icons.

'The Strings' is the directorial debut from Ryan Glover who co-wrote with Krista Dzialoszynski. In the dead of winter, Catherine (Teagan Johnston), a talented musician who, having recently broken up her successful band, travels to her aunt’s remote coastal cottage to work on new material in solitude. Once there, she and local photographer Grace (Jenna Schaefer) spark up a budding romance while visiting an abandoned farmhouse with a disturbing past. Soon after, strange and seemingly supernatural occurrences begin to manifest at the cottage, escalating each night and dangerously eroding Catherine’s sense of reality.

'Autumn Road' is written & directed by Riley Cusick. It follows Laura (Lorelei Linklater) who returns to her hometown ten years after her sister, Winnie (Maddie Lea) vanishes on Halloween night trick-or-treating. She becomes entangled with two idiosyncratic identical twins Charlie & Vincent (Cusick) from her childhood who now run the town's roadside haunted house. With nowhere else to go, she is drawn deeper and deeper into their world of scares, secrets, and enchanting house of horrors. While one twin pulls her closer, the other’s threats and scare tactics escalate to a breaking point where he must decide what lines he’s willing to cross.

'Bruised' is the directorial debut from Halle Berry, from a script from Michelle Rosenfarb. Jackie Justice (Halle Berry) is a mixed martial arts fighter who leaves the sport in disgrace. Down on her luck and simmering with rage and regret years after her last fight, she’s coaxed into a brutal underground fight by her manager and boyfriend Desi (Adan Canto) and grabs the attention of a fight league promoter (Shamier Anderson) who promises Jackie a life back in the octagon. But the road to redemption becomes unexpectedly personal when Manny (Danny Boyd, Jr) — the son she gave up as an infant — shows up at her doorstep.
