Echo Chamber - 209
This week's EchoChamberFP looks at three new films!
We have a boxing biopic from Camelot Films & Signature Entertainment. Then two from Netflix, one a friendship tale around crime, the other a blockbuster book adaptation!
'Prizefighter: The Life of Jem Belcher' is directed by Daniel Graham and written by Matt Hookings. In 1800 Jem Belcher (Matt Hookings) became the youngest ever world boxing champion. After a life-changing accident risked ending his career forever, he begins a long, gruelling road to recovery which eventually sees him compete in a death-defying standoff - known only as The Forgotten Fight of the Century.
'The Turning Point' is directed by Riccardo Antonaroli and written by Roberto Cimpanelli & Gabriele Scarfone. Ludovico (Brando Pacitto), a slacker who does his best to avoid confrontation strikes up an unlikely friendship with Jack (Andrea Lattanzi), a dangerous thug who suddenly forces his way into his life.
The Russo Brothers, along with Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely bring Mark Greaney's. 'The Gray Man' to the big screen! When the CIA's most skilled mercenary, known as Court Gentry aka Sierra Six (Ryan Gosling), accidentally uncovers dark agency secrets, he becomes a primary target and is hunted around the world by psychopathic former colleague Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans) and international assassins.
