Echo Chamber - 216
Just a single EchoChamberFP this week.
We have a new war film, and then a heist joint from Signature Entertainment. And also take a look at the new live action retelling on Disney+.
'Wolves of War' is directed by Giles Alderson and written by Ben Mole, Toby Kearton & Samuel Christopher Ellis. Based on an incredible real-life story, Decorated British officer Jack Wallace (Ed Westwick) must lead a band of Allied commandos across enemy lines to rescue Professer Hopper (Rupert Graves), an American scientist held hostage by the Nazis. With information that could turn the tide of war. The outcome of this mission will change the world forever; failure is not an option.
'Pinocchio' is directed by Robert Zemeckis, who co-wrote with Chris Weitz. Geppetto (Tom Hanks) created a marionette which he named Pinocchio (Benjamin Evan Ainsworth), based on his deceased son. Before bed, he wishes his puppet would come to life. That night the Blue Fairy (Cynthia Erivo) visited and told a now live Pinocchio that if he acts brave, truthful, and selfless, he can be a real boy. She also appoints Jiminy Cricket (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) as the puppets conscience, to teach him right from wrong.
'Death Pursuit' is directed by James Clayton and written by Cooper Bibaud & Danny Mac. A Thief (James Clayton) finally pulls off his long-gestating heist: the robbery of psychotic crime lord, Temple (Vinnie Jones), until he discovers a stowaway in his getaway car – Temple’s wife, Mia (Lina Lecompte). Temple’s elite assassin, the deadly and mysterious, The Frenchman (Janvier Katabarwa), is sent to retrieve the wife and money. And The Thief has to decide, disappear with the money or help Mia escape her husband’s abusive grasp.
