In 'Part One' we have a new Netflix thriller, a Prime Video rom-com, and then a horror hybrid from Automatik & Blumhouse.
'The Takeover' is directed by Annemarie van de Mond and written by Hans Erik Kraan & Tijs van Marle. When the ethical hacker Mel Bandison (Holly Mae Brood) defuses a hack on a high-tech self-driving bus, she unintentionally shuts down an international criminal network. Together with Thomas Deen (Geza Weisz), her clumsy date from the night before, she flees from these criminals, but also from the police.
'Meet Me In New York' is directed by Adrian Langley and written by Danny Morgan. Ambitious New York events planner Kelly (Brooke Nevin) is one of the best in the business. But when Joe (Corey Sevier), a stubborn, but influential website editor, hires her to organise his niece's birthday, Kelly soon realises that she may have met her match.
'Run Sweetheart Run' is directed by Shana Feste who co-wrote with Keith Josef Adkins & Kellee Terrell. Initially apprehensive when her boss insists she meets with one of his most important clients, single mom Cherie (Ella Balinska) is relieved and excited when she meets charismatic Ethan (Pilou Asbæk). Cherie now faces a night of terror when her date hunts her down and tries to kill her. She now must run for her life throughout the city and escape his grasp.
