Echo Chamber - 232 - Part One
You can hear ‘Part Two’ HERE of this week’s episode!!!
It's the penultimate EchoChamberFP of the year, so we went 'TWO PARTER!!!
In 'Part One', we have a new documentary from Signature Entertainment, then a Christmas rom-com from Prime Video. And we bring it home with Netflix new interpretation of a classic tale!
'Quintessentially British' is written & directed by Frank Mannion. This unique and cheeky documentary explores Britain and what makes our country great from our traditions to our self-deprecating sense of humour.
'Something from Tiffany's' is directed by Daryl Wein, written by Tamara Chestna, and based on a book by the same name from Melissa Hill. Rachel and Gary (Zoey Deutch, Ray Nicholson) are happy enough but not quite ready for that big commitment. Ethan and Vanessa (Kendrick Smith Sampson, Shay Mitchell), the perfect picture, are just about to make it official. When a simple mix-up of gifts causes all of their paths to cross, it sets off a series of twists and unexpected discoveries that lead them where they’re truly meant to be. Because love – like life – is full of surprises.
'Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio' is directed by Guillermo del Toro and Mark Gustafson, del Toro also co-wrote with Patrick McHale & Matthew Robbins. Reimagines the story in 1930s Fascist Italy as "a story of love and disobedience as Pinocchio struggles to live up to his father's expectations, learning the true meaning of life.
