For our last EchoChamberFP of 2022, we take a look at FOUR films!!

The first three, got a lot of talk during lockdown! We have an indie porker, a sequel to a small budget banger, AND, a new entry to the DC Universe! Then we have a new rom-com from Signature Entertainment dropping at the start of 2023!!!

'Pig' is the feature directorial debut from Michael Sarnoski who also co-wrote with Vanessa Block. A truffle hunter (Nicolas Cage) who lives alone in the Oregonian wilderness must return to his past in Portland in search of his beloved foraging pig after she is kidnapped.

'A Quiet Place Part II' is written & directed by John Krasinski. Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

'The Batman' is directed by Matt Reeves, who co-wrote with Peter Craig. Batman (Robert Pattinson) ventures into Gotham City's underworld when a sadistic killer (Paul Dano) leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator's plans become clear, he must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued the metropolis.

'This Is the Year' is the feature directorial debut from David Henrie who also co-wrote with Sienna Aquilini, Pepe Portillo & Bug Hall. It is a contemporary spin on classic 80’s teen coming-of-age movies. In a last-ditch effort to win over Zoey (Alyssa Jirrels), the girl of his dreams, Josh (Lorenzo Henrie), a nerdy high school senior and his best friends, Molly (Vanessa Marano), Mikey (Jake Short) & Donnie (Bug Hall), embark on a road trip to see their favourite band at the biggest music festival of the year, only to discover true love in the most unexpected place.
