We're bringing you another 'TWO Part' EchoChamberFP this week!!!
And in 'Part ONE', we have an interactive rom-com from Netflix, a couple of new Disney+ entries. A coming-of-age joint from Disney Branded Television and a live action adaptation from Walt Disney Studios. THEN we close out with two from Signature Entertainment. A revenge story from Haymarket Films and an assassin actioner from Juliette!
'Choose Love' is directed by Stuart McDonald and written by Josann McGibbon. Viewers can help Cami (Laura Marano) make the decision in this interactive production as she worries that something is missing with her boyfriend Paul (Scott Michael Foster) and has concerns she may have missed the love of her life with British rock star Rex Galier (Avan Jogia), or with Jack (Jordi Webber), her first love and “the one that got away”.
'The Slumber Party' is the feature directorial debut from Veronica Rodriguez and written by Eydie Faye and it's an adaptation of Jen Malone 2017 book 'The Sleepover'. The hilarious aftermath of a sleepover birthday party hypnotism gone wrong as best friends Megan (Darby Camp) and Paige (Emmy Liu-Wang), along with soon-to-be step-sister Veronica (Alex Cooper Cohen), wake up with absolutely no memory of the night before. Now they must retrace their steps to find missing birthday girl Anna Maria (Valentina Herrera)... and explain why there's a flock of baby ducks in the bathtub, what happened to Megan's left eyebrow, and why she's wearing unattainable hottie Jake Ramirez's (Ramon Jose Rodriguez) signature black hoodie.
'The Little Mermaid' is a live action adaptation of the classic 1989 animated film, directed by Rob Marshall and written by David Magee. The youngest of King Triton's (Javier Bardem) daughters, Ariel (Halle Bailey) is a beautiful and spirited young mermaid with a thirst for adventure. Longing to find out more about the world beyond the sea, Ariel visits the surface and falls for the dashing Prince Eric (Jonah Hauer-King). Following her heart, she makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula (Melissa McCarthy), to experience life on land.
'Rise of the Footsoldier: Vengeance' is directed by Nick Nevern and written by Andrew Loveday & Jason Maza. Pat Tate (Craig Fairbrass) embarks on a rampage to avenge his loyal and trusted footsoldier's violent death, venturing beyond his comfort zone of Essex into the dark side of 90s Soho to track down the villain responsible. Set to execute his revenge, Tate will stop at nothing even as the world around him starts to explode.
'King of Killers' is written & directed by Kevin Grevioux. While attempting to rebuild his life, former assassin Marcus Garan (Alain Moussi) receives an offer he can't refuse: a $10 million contract to take out the world’s most acclaimed assassin, the ‘King of Killers’ (Frank Grillo). After running into multiple familiar faces (Marie Avgeropoulos, Shannon Kook, Georges St-Pierre, Ryan Tarran, Garan realises he’s not the only contract killer out for the King of Killers’ head, but the group of hunters find themselves as prey for the King’s latest game, eliminating them one-by-one. This isn’t a contract, it’s a competition – and the only rule is kill or be killed.
