So this week's EchoChamberFP goes uncharted with six films, that's right baby, SIX!!!

Prime Video has a trueish story, Shudder has a drivers nightmare scenario. Then there's a fascinating genealogy documentary, and a thriller around OCDism, before we explore some Indian demonic mythology from Vertigo Releasing. AND, we end on childhood terrors & parental fears from Lionsgate!!!

'The Burial' is directed by Maggie Betts who co-wrote with Doug Wright. It's based on a New Yorker article from Jonathan Harr. Inspired by true events, when a handshake deal goes sour, funeral home owner Jeremiah O’Keefe (Tommy Lee Jones) enlists charismatic attorney Willie E. Gary (Jamie Foxx) to save his family business. Tempers flare and laughter ensues as the unlikely pair bond while exposing corporate corruption and racial injustice in this inspirational, triumphant story.

'Night of the Hunted' is directed by Franck Khalfoun who co-wrote with Rubén Ávila Calvo, Glen Freyer & David R.L. When an unsuspecting woman (Camille Rowe) stops at a remote gas station in the dead of night, she's made the plaything of a sociopath sniper with a secret vendetta. To survive she must not only dodge his bullets and fight for her life, but also figure out who wants her dead and why.

'Fioretta' is directed by Matthew Mishory who co-wrote with Rob Levine. Genealogy-obsessed Randy Schoenberg drags his reluctant teenage son Joey on a journey of discovery through 500 years of family history, all the way back to the founders of the Jewish ghetto in Venice, Italy. Grandson of the famous composer Arnold Schoenberg, Randy is renowned for recovering Nazi-looted art, but his greatest achievement might just be reuniting the fractured and scattered shards of his own family.

'Exposure' is written & directed by Peter Cannon. Tanner (Douglas Smith), a traumatized man is convinced someone is trying to poison him, which slowly erodes his relationship with his patient and caring wife, Nicole (Margo Harshman), who forces him to face his fears head on with exposure therapy.

'It Lives Inside' is written & directed by Bishal Dutta. Sam, an Indian-American teenager (Megan Suri) struggling with her cultural identity has a falling out with her former best friend, Tamira (Mohana Krishnan) and, in the process, unwittingly releases a demonic entity that grows stronger by feeding on her loneliness.

'Cobweb' is the feature directorial debut from Samuel Bodin and written by Chris Thomas Devlin. Eight-year-old Peter (Woody Norman) is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall – a tapping that his parents (Lizzy Caplan & Antony Starr) insist is all in his imagination. As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes that his parents could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?
