We're hitting you with a 'TWO Parter' for @EchoChamberFP this week!!!
In 'Part ONE' we have a new Netflix comedy, Buffalo 8 bring us a home invasion with a difference. There's a found footage horror from Terror Films & Shudder. Then Signature Entertainment team with Revelation Films and Bleiberg Entertainment for a real crime documentary and a historical adventure!
'Old Dads' is the feature directorial debut from Bill Burr who co-wrote with Ben Tishler. Three best friends (Bill Burr, Bobby Cannavale, Bokeem Woodbine) become fathers later in life and find themselves battling preschool principals, millennial CEOs and anything created after 1987.
'The Hive' is the feature directorial debut from Jared Allmond which he also wrote! Albie (Timothy Haug) and Penny (Christie Griffin), a young couple with a failing marriage, try to rekindle the fire by having a night out by themselves. To make matters worse, the couple returns home to armed strangers (Miles Taber & Julianne Ruck).
'Hell House LLC Origins: The Carmichael Manor' is written & directed by Stephen Cognetti. A group of cold case investigators (Bridget Rose Perrotta, Destiny Leilani Brown, James Liddell) stay at the Carmichael Manor, site of the grisly and unsolved murders of the Carmichael family (Cayla Berejikian, Victoria Andrunik, Gideon Berger, Marlene Williams & Robert Savakinus) back in the eighties. After four nights, the group was never heard from again. What is discovered on their footage is even more disturbing than anything found on the Hell House tapes.
'Murder of the Essex Boys: Blood and Betrayal' is directed by Trevor Drane. DISCOVER THE MURDERS THAT INSPIRED BRITISH HIT FRANCHISE RISE OF THE FOOTSOLDIER. Pat Tate, Tony Tucker and Craig Rolfe were notoriously murdered in a Range Rover on a quiet country lane in Essex. With two convictions and countless conspiracies later, questions remain unanswered - until now. Brand new revelations are exposed through exclusive interviews with key players in the Essex crime scene as Essex detectives explore an all-new perspective to the crime and the story behind it.
'Boudica' is written & directed by Jesse V. Johnson. This historical action is the bold, bloody story of the titular Celtic Queen. King Prasutagus (Clive Standen) rules over the Iceni people with his wife Boudica (Olga Kurylenko) by his side, but when Prasutagus is betrayed and killed by Rome, Boudica’s kingdom is left without a male heir and the Romans seize her land and property. Driven to the edge of madness and determined to avenge her husband’s death, Boudica rallies the various tribes from the region and wages an epic war against the mighty Roman Empire.
