Now, you're not mistaken, the '36th BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival' has finished, BUT, like Steve Jobs, we have one more thing!
Today @EchoChamberFP coverage takes a look at our last Short, and then we sit down with it's very talented Cinematographer.
‘Octopus’ is written & directed by Ella Glendining. Mini (Annabelle Davis) returns to the seaside town in which she grew up for the funeral of one of her closest friends, Frank. Frank’s death is beyond tragic, but not a complete surprise to those that knew him best. Having moved away and unexpectedly started a family, Mini is guilt-ridden that she hadn’t seen Frank in the year since she had her baby, a year which has been fraught with adjusting to her new identity as a mum.

Bea Delgado Mena
Beatriz Delgado Mena was born on May, 28, 1988 in Palencia, a small town in Spain, where she spent her childhood. After graduating university with a degree in Journalism, she decided to move to Madrid to pursue Film Production studies. Alternating between her passion for acting in theatre with her main interest of writing and creating stories through images, she moved to The Netherlands to finish her studies. For one year she would work as a cameraman, radio announcer, editor and journalist, before relocating to the United Kingdom to study MA Directing Digital Film and Television at Bournemouth University. She is now based in London.
