'Part One' has a post-apocalyptic tale from Signature Entertainment, Netflix adapt a popular fairytale school for the screen. And we have the return of a Shudder anthology series.
'Vesper' is directed by Kristina Buožytė & Bruno Samper who co-wrote with Brian Clark. Set after the collapse of Earth's ecosystem, Vesper (Raffiella Chapman), a headstrong 13-year-old girl surviving in the remnants of a strange and dangerous world with her ailing father, Darius (Richard Brake). She meets Camellia (Rosy McEwen), who has a valuable secret. Forcing her to use her wits, strengths, and bio-hacking abilities to fight for the possibility of having a future.
'The School for Good and Evil' is directed by Paul Feig, who co-wrote with David Magee, and based on the books by Soman Chainani. In the village of Gavaldon, two misfits and best friends, Sophie (Sophia Anne Caruso) and Agatha (Sofia Wylie) find their bond put to the test when they're whisked away to a magical school for future fairy-tale heroes and villains. And things take another twist as Sophie is dropped into the School for Evil, run by the glamorous and acid-tongued Lady Lesso (Charlize Theron), and Agatha in the School for Good, overseen by the sunny and kind Professor Dovey (Kerry Washington).
'V/H/S/99' is the latest installment of the popular horror anthology series, made up of five segments. 'Shredding' is written & directed by Maggie Levin - 'Suicide Bid' is written & directed by Johannes Roberts - 'Ozzy's Dungeon' is directed by Flying Lotus who co-wrote with Zoe Cooper - 'The Gawkers' is directed by Tyler MacIntyre, who co-wrote with Chris Lee Hill and 'To Hell And Back' is written & directed by Vanessa & Joseph Winter.
