You're not mistaken, it's Monday and we have a 'SPECIAL EDITION' of EchoChamberFP for you!!!

Tiny Voice & Entertainment Squad hit us with a new indie joint, that blends genres and mythology, to create a compelling mystery. THEN, the writer / director of the film stops by to talk conception of the idea, the filming techniques, and the industry as a whole!

'Blue Hour: The Disappearance of Nick Brandreth' is written & directed by Daniel Bowhers. True crime documentarian Olivia Brandreth (Morgan DeTogne) was nine years old when her father (Nick Brandreth) disappeared. Twenty five years later, Olivia has returned to her childhood home to get closure. When conversations with family and law enforcement (Josh Olkowski) offer hints at a yet to be explained conspiracy, an increasingly dangerous truth comes to light.

Daniel Bowhers

Visual Effects (VFX), Writer, Director, Editor, Producer, Cinematographer

My name is Daniel Bowhers and I am a New England born, New York City based filmmaker and visual effects artist. In elementary school I began making stop motion films and quickly realized making movies was a more palatable alternative to traditional school projects. In 2002 I enrolled at Clark University in Worcester, MA where I studied Art and Film history as well as International Relations. In 2007 I moved to New York City where I began working in the Company 3 vault cleaning negative for features and commercials. Shortly after that I stumbled into a career as a VFX artist where I have been working ever since. I co-founded Tiny Voice with photographer Nick Brandreth in 2017. Our short films have been screened globally and we remain particularly fond of our surrealist-horror fever dream - Ten, Thirteen, Twelve. As a filmmaker I am extremely excited to continue to explore themes of doom, anxiety and the human struggle to resist the inevitable.

I also enjoy cycling, cats and pizza. Please reach out if you would like to discuss film or anything else.
